Now & Then brings the swing to Quincy, California, for this June’s First Friday, when the town rolls out the streets and our lovely local galleries bust open new showings of wonderful work in many media.

These three have been playing together for decades, beginning in early 1988 as three-fifths of the locally legendary acoustic swing quintet, Porch Swing, and segueing into this trio format circa 2006.
They love playing together, and they love this music, a repertoire of hundreds of songs – standards, Latin tunes, a few quasi-modern classics, and a few of Hank’s originals.
For years the trio has enjoyed the support of an extensive network of fans among music aficionados living in the watershed of el Rio de Las Plumas, AKA “the Feather River Country”, in Plumas County, California, as well as many fans from afar, captured en route through one of our nation’s most inviting recreational areas.
Now & Then is available for concerts, anniversary and birthday parties, general musical engagements both public and private, and a range of community musical affairs.
