A lovely room, no sound system necessary, and two of the niftiest duos you could imagine – The Better Halves, and Hank & Shaidri.
Our format is a song swap, and this will one seriously good swapping of songs. There will be laughter, and there will probably be tears, too, kind of like in real life. Hank & Shaidri happen to be huge fans of The Better Halves, so this is a perfect setup.
A song circle will follow, so if you’re looking to share your music, bring an instrument and help us out. Those who participate will probably hear some very new material from the so-called headliners, or at least good stuff that didn’t get played during the formal concert.
Our hosts are old hands at this house concert stuff, and their room is legendary among the select few who have been fortunate to play for Arhaven House Concerts. There are very few rooms with such extraordinarily good acoustics, a perfect space in which to enjoy acoustic instruments and human voices.
Doors open at 2:30pm and music will begin at 3:00pm.
