With Chris Alcaraz handling “special guest” duty on upright bass, I’ll play two sets at The Drunk Brush Wine Bar on Grover Alley in beautiful greater metropolitan downtown Quincy, California.
The weather should allow for a lovely evening outdoors, and we’re going to enjoy playing in the courtyard. I aim to get there early enough to enjoy a sandwich from The Knook, which shares that courtyard.
Chris is en route to the Oregon Country Fair, and I talked him into joining me for a string of gigs. He’s been taking a road break at my house for the last couple of years, and it made good sense to take advantage of an opportunity to play music together.
