Friday, June 15, 2018, I’ll play three sets, at The Drunk Brush Wine Bar on Grover Alley in beautiful greater metropolitan downtown Quincy, California. The weather should allow for a lovely evening outdoors in the courtyard.
I’m going to enjoy a sandwich at The Knook sandwich shop, which shares that courtyard.
I’m looking forward to playing here every week I’m home, and this summer that’s mostly. I haven’t been able to do anything like this for years, and I am tickled to have the chance. I’ll quote my dear departed friend, Joe Gracey, for “Drink lots of water, stay off your feet, and come when you can”.
I’ll be off next week, to Weiser ID and the swing jam scene around the Snake River Heritage Center, and the National Oldtime Fiddle Championship & Festival.
