Hank Alrich + Bill Liles, Doug Harman, Shaidri Alrich

Alrighty, Quincy CA jam fans. No more of this lone solo Hank Alrich action. The age-advanced kid has help this time, all of whom are excited to be taking this break from recording official Hank & Shaidri tracks.

Bill Liles is a stellar bass player, on upright for this event, and down from Boise ID. Texan Doug Harman is a complicated multi-instrumentalist who will be playing keys here, taking a break from his cello work for the recording. Shaidri gets a break from recording, too, and will bring fiddle and her great singing to this party.

The evening’s program will be eclectic, ranging across straight ahead honky tonk music to jazz, with various sidetracks en route.

It’s a glorious time to play music outdoors in the courtyard of The Drunk Brush Wine Bar on Grover Alley in beautiful greater metropolitan downtown Quincy, California. The libations are superb, the laughter infectious, the conversations rich ~ in short, an excellent hangout.

Fine sandwich and other fare is available from The Knook, which adjoins the scene.

If you find yourself wanting to stay over in Quincy, a contender as one of the coolest small towns in the USA, consider the Quincy Courtyard Suites, which offer efficient walking distance access to many of the town’s delights.
